Who we are
itsaura is a projects and advisory firm that tailors AI solutions to business needs. We select the projects that we do one at a time, which is a deliberate constraint rather than a stage we are trying to grow out of. We also choose our clients based on anticipated mutual benefit. It is what lets us take on specialized projects, handle confidential material and stay accountable for what we build.
We cooperate with all major advisory firms, IT vendors and implementation partners. We value independence — we have no preferred suppliers and maintain good relations with all. That also shapes how we approach AI: we care about whether a claim can be checked, where data goes, and who is accountable when a system is wrong.
itsaura.ai operates globally and maintains its offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Founder
itsaura is led by its founder Richard Brink. A career bordering computer science, business and law led him to advisory practice and law enforcement.
The rise of AI reignited his passion to experiment on the cutting edge of the cyber domain. It made him realize that computers would be an even more powerful force in business than they had been.
The knowhow part of itsaura was the result of his initial work: a local LLM model that provides advice on the basis of 160,000 criminal law judgments. The underlying programming is still a foundation of many of itsaura's solutions and implementations.

We say when AI is the right answer
A good deal of what AI is sold for is better solved another way, or not worth solving. Being willing to say so is the whole value of independent advice.
We are not anyone's reseller
We implement on Microsoft, on Google, and on private deployments. No vendor pays us, so the recommendation follows the problem rather than a margin.
We build what we advise
Advice that never has to survive contact with an implementation tends to be optimistic. Ours does, because the same people carry it through.
You are never locked in
Open components, documented systems, and a handover at the end. We would rather you stayed because the work is good than because leaving is painful.
